Position Overview: ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity within our organization. In addition to proficient Excel and Word skills, the Document Controller will possess a solid understanding of project management principles, allowing for seamless integration of document control processes into project workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document Management: Oversee the creation, revision, distribution, and archival of documents, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Data Entry and Organization: Utilize Excel and Word extensively to input, manage, and manipulate data efficiently, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  3. Version Control: Manage document versions, updates, and revisions, maintaining a clear and accessible record of changes.
  4. Document Retrieval: Facilitate the retrieval and distribution of documents as needed, ensuring timely access for authorized personnel.
  5. Project Integration: Integrate document control processes into project management workflows, collaborating closely with project managers and team members to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  6. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and quality checks on documents to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with relevant standards.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to coordinate document-related activities and ensure seamless communication and collaboration across project teams.
  8. Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to team members on document management processes, tools, and best practices, fostering a culture of efficiency and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role, with a strong understanding of document management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, with advanced skills in data entry, manipulation, and formatting.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, with the ability to integrate document control processes into project workflows.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
