MECHANICAL ENGINEER CO-OP or INTERNSHIP

As a Intern or Co-op Mechanical Engineer at Deco Products Company, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our experienced engineering team and contribute to real-world projects. This role is designed to provide you with practical experience and exposure to various aspects of mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Design and Analysis: Collaborate with senior engineers to assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems and components. This may include using CAD software and simulation tools.
2. Testing and Prototyping: Participate in the testing and prototyping of mechanical products. Document test results and provide insights for improvements.
3. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
4. Problem Solving: Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to mechanical systems and processes.
5. Research and Development: Assist in research and development activities to explore new technologies and materials for potential application in our products.
6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, manufacturing professionals, and project managers, to achieve project goals.
7. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong academic record in relevant coursework.
• Knowledge of CAD software is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
