Summary of Position:

The Foreman, Rotating Equipment will supervise and lead the daily operation of all company owned rotating equipment as well as manage all maintenance activities with pumping units and company owner generators. This position is responsible for all staff scheduling, performance, safety needs, service relationships, invoicing, and budgeting of all related daily needs. This position requires this individual to be the technical lead for the group.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads, advises, manages, and mentors the midstream rotating equipment team by directing work, assisting in establishing priorities and ensuring completion of the team’s collective and individual responsibilities and goals.
  • Manage associated facility and equipment documentation where needed.
  • Work with associated regulatory teams to assure full compliance of associated assets.
  • Monitors oil, gas, and water production in the assigned area.
  • Work with production on midstream operations.
  • Assist midstream operations and pipeline operations team with day-to-day activities.
  • Collaborate with all operations teams.
  • Manage rotating equipment maintenance projects where needed.
  • Manage new rotating equipment startups and associated purging where needed.
  • May oversee activities of contract crews and/or coordinate activities on any midstream asset.
  • Prepare documentation as needed.
  • Establish, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with CIVI Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements.
  • Assure work performed adheres to CIVI standards.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Provides performance feedback and completes evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • With the assistance of HR and the department head, handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Degree or GED required.
  • 5+ years of direct oil and gas operations and associated experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of midstream activities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and meet goals and/or deadlines.
  • Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Must be willing to travel to and work in any area as needed.
  • Must be willing to work late hours and days off as needed.
