Job Description
As a Little Bipsy warehouse associate you will be responsible for carrying out an array of fulfillment and inventory duties such as, hand picking, filling orders, put-away, and organizing stock in alignment with company standards.
Requirements
- Select, pack, and ship orders
- Receive and put away inventory
- Use scanners and visual cues to read product labels to ensure correct product selection
- Use computer software to process and label orders
- Package orders accurately and neatly
- Ensure product meets quality requirements
- Troubleshoot problems
- Safely perform job duties in a warehouse environment
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs
Requirements
- Must be 17 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
- Warehouse Associate jobs are entry level and do not require any previous experience, however, experience is a plus!
- Must have reliable transportation and good attendance
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk throughout the warehouse
- Pay attention to detail while picking orders and packing items for shipping
- Ability to understand and comprehend written/verbal communication and instruction in English
- Able to work with a variable schedule during the weekdays, Monday - Saturday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to push, pull, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds
- Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
