SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Processing Operator III!

Job Title: Processing Operator III

Job Location: Altavista, VA, U.S.A. 24517

Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)

Pay: $16.55 an hour

Shift Structure: 3rd SHIFT, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The role of the Processing Operator III:

Operate machinery to weigh and mix raw materials according to production specifications.
Utilize your basic math skills to ensure accurate measurements and blends.
Safely lift and maneuver product into machines, with the ability to handle loads up to 75 lbs unassisted.
Draw on your forklift experience to transport materials efficiently and safely.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth production flow and address any issues that arise.

About the Processing Operator III:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent
Advanced proficiency in operating machinery in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Physical stamina and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that contributes to a supportive team environment.
