Part-Time Night Auditor

Our property is growing rapidly and we are looking for a night auditor who loves working with people, possesses a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and has bookkeeping experience! $14 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and compiles information for the hotel’s financial records.
• Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.
• Prepares summary of cash, checks and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel’s financial performance for the day.
• Post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts. Processes guest charge vouchers and credit card vouchers.Verifies all account postings and balances.
• Summarizes results of operations and prepares reports for management.
• Performs duties of the Front Desk Agent.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus
• Overnight shift; requires flexible hours
