Team Leader
Work Location: 185 Grassy Plain Street, Bethel, CT 06801, USA
The Team Leader, Electrical Tech position is responsible for the team oversite of the physical assembly/light manufacturing of POWR2 energy storage systems. Including but not limited to:
- Responsible for overseeing all Production Stages within the department.
- Effectively work with each Production Stage Lead to problem solve or trouble shoot any issues and effectively communicate with the Production Coordinator.
- Responsible for ensuring production has all tools required for each task.
- Responsible for training and assigning electrical staff to their appropriate Production Stages.
- Responsible for training of new staff in the electrical department.
- Responsible for performance management and collaboration with Production Coordinator to structure of each Production Stage.
- Responsible for ensuring all quality standards are met within each production Stage.
- Oversight of the team to ensure that all procedures are followed.
- Identify obstacles and present solutions to Production Coordinator.
- Effectively Communicate any production Shortages to the Production Coordinator.
- Effectively Work with the Mechanical Team Lead, Production Coordinator and Warehouse Manager on Production priorities or opportunities.
- Effectively communicate any BOM, Cut-list, or Schematic Discrepancies to the appropriate channels.
- Responsible to adhere and maintain a “Safety, Quality, Production” Culture.
Potential growth opportunities: Production Coordinator, Production Supervisor, Production Manager, Quality Manager, Engineering Design.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics
- Electrician/Electronics certification preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in electrical installation/assembly work
- Attention to detail
- Quick learner
- Good level of initiative
- Good organization skills
- Workspace organization and cleanliness
- Passion for efficiency
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and life minimum of 40lbs and up to 90lbs
- Knowledge of hand/power tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety guidelines
