POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director of Boulder Park Terrace shall be responsible and accountable for the overall internal and external operation of the facility, and shall direct all activities of the facility to ensure compliance with established standards. The Executive Director is directly responsible to the President of McLaren Northern Michigan or his designee, and the Board of Trustees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for: Effective operation of all activities of Boulder Park Terrace; interpretation and administration of the policies of the Board of Trustees; utilization and development of Boulder Park Terrace human, financial and technical resources; maintenance of high quality professional patient and medical care service; participation in community health programs; and financial integrity of Boulder Park Terrace.
Develop annually for Board review and approval, a strategic and tactical plan delineating the organization s quality, productivity, fiscal, and patient, staff and other customer satisfaction objectives.
Develop annually for Board review and approval, operating and capital budgets.
Develop and continuously improve the structure and processes for recruitment and retention of medical, clinical, support and administrative staff.
Provide leadership and overall management of the organization s operations and finances, and regularly report to the Board the results, including progress toward annual objectives.
Develop annually for Board review and approval, a Business Development Plan to support achievement of the organization s strategic and tactical objectives.
Support and participate in, as required, the activities necessary for achievement of MNM strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships, including referral relationships with other healthcare providers in the region.
Actively participate in the legislative and regulatory processes to promote a positive environment for the provision of long term care services.
Actively participate in appropriate professional groups to strengthen professional skills and knowledge base.
Perform any and all duties that may be required or from time to time assigned by the Board of Trustees.

Requirement description :
  • Graduate in nursing home administration, business administration, or equivalent - Required
  • MI Licensed nursing home administrator - Required
  • Prior experience in nursing home administration of at least (5) years - Preferred

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
  • Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Active at time of submission
