Cabot Citrus Farms

Cabot’s first U.S. destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, is situated on 1,200 acres of rolling land and will include Cabot’s signature combination of world-class golf, luxury accommodations and real estate opportunities. Opening in 2023, Cabot Citrus Farms will feature two revitalized 18-hole courses, a par-3 course, a new clubhouse and extensive practice facilities. The property is a short 50-minute drive from Tampa and an 80-minute drive from Orlando. While close to urban amenities, the property sits in the central-west region of Florida aptly known as the Nature Coast. Visitors will delight in one-of-a-kind experiences including exceptional hiking, biking and nature trails at neighboring Withlacoochee State Forest, spring- fed rivers and bountiful lakes at Crystal River, and world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Position Overview

As an Ambassador for Cabot, you are the first – in person - smile to greet our guests upon arrival to Cabot Citrus Farms. You take pride in being a key member of the team responsible for CCFs world class first impression. You greet our guests by name and create that authentic personal connection that lets them know how special they are. While directing them to the pro shop for check-in and assisting with unloading golf clubs from the shuttle, you offer personalized insights on services and amenities available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
  • Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
  • Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Retrieve and prepare golf clubs for guests as indicated on the tee sheet.
  • Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Cabot Citrus Farms.
  • Maintain the supply of push carts for guests as needed. Includes daily storage and regular upkeep of units.
  • Maintain the supply of golf carts for guest access as needed. Includes daily storage, charging, and cleaning of units.
  • Greet all guests in a warm and professional manner - make guests feel welcome and anticipate their needs.
  • Recognize and welcome all new and returning guests with “Welcome to Cabot” or “Welcome back to Cabot Mr./Mrs./etc.”
  • Assist guests with their golf clubs, set them up on a golf cart, or pushcart, ensure that the bag is suitable for the caddie when caddies are booked, provide a medical cart when required, and provide club storage services as requested.
  • Provide information and direction to guests to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Streamline the check in process for resort guests by efficiently communicating with professional shop team members.
  • Assist with cleaning rental clubs after use and properly clean and maintain the power cart fleet.
  • Communicate with the intent to connect with guests and associates, displaying a positive attitude and high effective listening and speaking skills.
  • Prepare and distribute cool towels to guests as they come off the golf course.
  • Wash, dry, and fold towels after use.
  • Assist with cleaning rental clubs after use.
  • Maintain the tagging and storage system in place for guests’ golf clubs, and clubs arriving/departing by Ship sticks and other shipping methods.
  • Assist guests with storing and retrieving golf clubs and other items in storage area.
  • Responsible for the organization, distribution, general maintenance and cleanliness of all smaller operational vehicles such as medical carts and push carts.
  • Maintain and uphold the policies, procedures, and reporting of the golf operations as required.
  • Follow and implement all policies and procedures for the guest rental club program.
  • Maintain the tagging and storage systems in place for guest golf clubs, and clubs arriving/departing by Shipsticks and other shipping methods.
  • Prepare and maintain all golf operational areas including but not limited to Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs staging areas, Golf Service Supervisor (GSS) stations, and practice area facilities to meet and exceed Cabot service standards.
  • Assist guests with information on resort amenities, community and surrounding areas, and directions.
  • Focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
  • Positive and proactive communication with resort guests and team members.
  • Comply with Cabot health and safety legislation.
  • Offer assistance to guests and provide them with requested information and directions, escorting the guest whenever possible.
  • Be aware of daily resort activities, groups, and VIP arrivals.
  • Work flexible hours as required, including early mornings, nights/weekends.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, authentic, engaging, and high energy
  • Excellent grooming and personal appearance standards
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

Physical Demands

  • Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and wind.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, and crouching while performing other duties.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
