While this position is fully remote, the candidate does need to reside in California or Oregon.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Establishes and meets sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for their territory.
  • Proactive Sales: Identify and investigate planned projects, far in advance of contract award, and work to position Filtrexx for a successful sales project pursuit.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
  • Drives customer penetration for products and customer locations.
  • Recommends product enhancements by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Delivers lunch and learn and other technical presentations in a professional manner.
  • Responsible for obtaining qualified leads through internal and external marketing efforts, setting appointments, and enrolling new members by using company sponsored sales tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory - initially more travel to establish relationships, meet customers, etc. Approx. 25-50%
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of progressively responsible sales experience
Knowledge/Skills
  • Passionate about sales and generating results
  • Detailed and organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Including the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a broad spectrum of audiences, including Engineers, Construction Contractors, State and Federal Regulators, EHS Managers, Maintenance Facility Site Managers; and the ability to conduct field inspections, investigations and recommendations.

**This role would have an incentive compensation program in addition to base salary.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS and PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

Must possess and retain a valid Class "C" driver's license. Due to the nature of the work, incumbents must have the ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, reach and manipulate objects.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The ability to work outdoors with exposure to all environmental conditions, hazards, and noise levels associated with construction sites and industrial facilities.
