PATIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR

Inverness Medical Imaging is looking for a full-time Patient Services Coordinator for a busy women's imaging center.

As a Patient Services Coordinator you will provide quality customer service while obtaining and entering accurate demographic and insurance information into our RIS system for our patients.

Additionally, you will:

• Collects copays, deductibles and outstanding payments from patients.
• Cross-references scheduled appointment against written radiology order to ensure appropriate exam is being performed.
• Answers a multi-line phone system in a courteous and friendly manner. Routes incoming calls to the appropriate person or facility.
• Validates accurate insurance information has been entered including any and all pre-authorization documentation and authorization numbers.

What you will need to be successful:

• A minimum of one-year related medical office experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
• Good computer and customer service skills a must
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, HMOs and PPOs is a plus.
