Job Description
Ranew's Companies is seeking a Plant Manager to join our team in Waterloo, IA. The Plant Manager is responsible for all performance aspects of their facility and are accountable for achieving all performance targets. The Plant Manager is also responsible for leading, motivating and supervising employees in a manufacturing and/or industrial paint environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Salary: $TDB - $TDB / Salary (starting pay is based on experience)

Plant Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Give input into employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Oversee daily floor operations.
- Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to management.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety regulations.
- Oversee all shipments, incoming inventory, and storage operations.
- Manage department priorities.
- Meet with various vendors.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service internally and externally.
- Actively promote Ranews vision, mission and values with employees, outside vendors and customers.
- Work proactively to improve processes and prevent issues that may impact company performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Good interpersonal skills and communication.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Work, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Ability to use multiple computer systems and programs.
- Strong management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams
- 3-5 years of supervisory and/or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business management, business, or related field preferred; Master's in business administration or management a plus.
