Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk
Join a growing finance department as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. You will play an integral part in the organization by maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment of invoices. This is a temporary opportunity for three months.
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm, Mon-Fri
- Pay: $19-$20/hour depending on experience
Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate person
- Process sales and purchase contracts daily
- Process invoicing daily and send to customers
- Process Accounts Payable weekly and maintain system
- Cut checks
- Filing
- Research and resolve problems
- Process credit card payments
- Update MS Excel spreadsheets
- Order supplies
Accounts Payable Clerk Requirements:
- Understanding of accounting principles required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Previous ERP System navigation preferred
- Must have excellent data entry skills
