Additional Responsibilities and Duties

• Sell Life Insurance and Property/Casualty Insurance products
• Seek out leads and new clients
• Discuss financial concerns and needs of individuals
• Service new and existing clients
• Develop your professional skills and knowledge
• Grow your small business annually

Requirements of Insurance Agent

• 4 year degree, preferred but not required
• Ability to pass background and credit check
• Sales experience, a plus

As a career insurance agent, the right cadidate will be given the keys to their own small business and will be in charge of exponentially growing that business annually. Additonally, Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Companies offer only the best training for their agents at a corporate and county level. That portfolio consists of Auto, Home, Commercial, Farm and Ranch, and Life insurance. There is no cap on earning potential.
