As a commercial apprentice electrician, your role involves learning and assisting in various aspects of electrical work within commercial settings under the supervision of experienced electricians. Here's a concise job description:

Job Summary:
As a commercial apprentice electrician, you will work alongside journeyman electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. You will assist in tasks such as wiring, fixture installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Salary: $24 Per Hour
Location: Hewitt, TX
Hours: 7AM TO 4PM

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in Electrical Installations: Support journeyman electricians in installing electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, and lighting, according to blueprints and specifications.
  2. Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Aid in troubleshooting electrical problems, identifying faults, and assisting in repairs to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
  3. Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries during electrical work.
  4. Read and Interpret Blueprints: Learn to read and understand electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to assist in executing installations accurately and efficiently.
  5. Comply with Electrical Codes: Familiarize yourself with local and national electrical codes and regulations to ensure all installations and repairs meet legal requirements and safety standards.
  6. Assist in Material Management: Help procure materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical work, maintain inventory, and ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
  7. Document Work Progress: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked, and assist in completing job reports, time sheets, and other documentation as required.
  8. Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other electricians, tradespeople, and project stakeholders to coordinate electrical work with other aspects of commercial construction or renovation projects.
