Detailer

Position Overview: We are seeking a Vehicle Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the pristine presentation of vehicles, both inside and out, to meet and exceed customer expectations. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and effective communication with managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport vehicles between the detail facility and staging areas in compliance with all traffic laws.
• Perform vehicle detailing as requested by the manager, ensuring each vehicle meets or surpasses customer standards.
• Adhere to manager's instructions regarding vehicle detailing requirements.
• Conduct initial cleaning and maintenance of vehicles to prepare them for detailing.
• Thoroughly wash and clean both interior and exterior of new and used vehicles as per detail specifications.
• Utilize vacuuming equipment to clean vehicle interiors to the highest standards.
• Methodically clean and sanitize all hard surfaces according to detailing needs.
• Ensure interior windows are immaculately cleaned for optimal visibility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area.
• Remove stickers from other dealerships and apply company logo stickers as required.
• Foster a positive working environment by respectfully interacting with colleagues and maintaining a proactive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Demonstrated commitment to punctuality and attendance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, and customers.
• Proficient in handling chemicals while adhering to proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
• Capacity to learn new tasks and follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Proficiency in understanding and executing both oral and written instructions.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and its proper usage is preferred.
