Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Tunnel Instructor for the NCS College of Clean. This position is based in Grimes, Iowa, where our headquarters are located. The ideal candidate will play a key role in training car wash owners and operators, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to optimize the performance of their tunnel car wash systems.

Responsibilities...

• Conduct 1-2 training sessions per week at our Grimes, IA headquarters
• Instruct car wash owners and operators on Tunnel Maintenance & Repair and Rollover Maintenance
• Provide comprehensive training on equipment overview, the five factors of clean, pneumatics & hydraulics, electrical components, controller programming & timing, chemical & water systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Cover specific topics related to Rollover maintenance, including equipment overview, gantry & brush movement, electrical & pneumatics, chemical systems, operator interface, reclaim and RO systems, maintenance checklist, and troubleshooting
• Develop and update training materials to ensure they align with industry standards and technology advancements

Requirements...

• Proven experience in tunnel car wash systems maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical components, and control systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt training content to varying skill levels of participants
• Previous experience in training or teaching is a plus
• Willingness to stay current with the industry trends and technological advancements

Qualifications...

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degrees are a plus
• Minimum 3 years experience in the car wash industry, preferably in a maintenance or repair role
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for off-site training sessions
