The Dishwasher is directly responsible for the washing and cleaning of all tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment, floors, walls, coolers, ceiling, etc. Responsible for keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to load, run, and unload dish machine.
  • Ability to keep the dish machine clean and functional.
  • Ability to understands and executes proper storage and usage of cleaning supplies.
  • Must be able to adhere to “First in First out principles” for proper rotation in order to minimize food loss.
  • Ability to close the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
  • Able to assist with checking refrigeration points and ensure all Temp logs are filled out properly.
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with Team Members, Team Leaders and Store Leadership.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stand for up to 4 hours without a break.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional Guest Service or get help to do so.
  • Load, run, and unload dish machine
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately to the Kitchen Team Leader.
  • Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times.
  • Bag and store linens in appropriate location at designated times.
  • Understands and executes the 12 steps to a successful NSF audit which ensures the highest level of food safety and sanitation.
  • Understands and executes proper storage and usage of cleaning supplies.
  • Adheres to “First in First out principles” for proper rotation in order to minimize food loss.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
  • Attends all scheduled Team Member meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations or assists others in closing the kitchen.
  • Assist with checking refrigeration points and ensure all Temp logs are filled out properly.
