If you are an experienced Product Engineering Manager who enjoys the challenge of ensuring everything is designed for manufacturing and assembly, eliminating the issues before they reach production for large scale equipment, then we need to speak with you.

The individual will be tasked with the entire process from start to finish ensuring that new products launched are designed for manufacturability and assembly, while solving challenges using shared best practices across company divisions that have been acquired over the years. There are quite a few long time employees with over 30 years of experience with tribal knowledge that this new Product Engineering Manager will enjoy learning from.

The technology includes design and assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electromechanical, mechanical and all assembled in mission critical products their customers count on to perform.

The Product Engineering Manager will have two direct reports, Engineers who are supporting the product Engineering Function on the floor day to day. This role will be focused on ensuring parts from external and external suppliers will perform as they are expected, to, will assemble without issue and function as intended, while performing beyond warranty standards.

The Product Development Manager will be involved interfacing with customers to understand their specific needs in order to develop products that will out perform the competition. They will work with weekly layered audits, 5S, and other formal tools to ensure the defect free assembly process when everything reaches the production floor.

The individuals who may be considered for this role should have the following experience, skills and education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Expertise in design and assembly of large multi system equipment Required
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing engineering professionals.
  • Experience with BOM, formal ERP system, and 3D product Design, SolidWorks Experience.
  • Expertise managing and keeping projects on schedule and budget.
  • Design for Manufacturing and Assembly required.
  • Project Management Skills
  • Strong written and verbal interaction demonstrated with external customers regularly.
