Precision Ag Specialist

Crown Recruiting seeks a Precision Ag Specialist to join the team of a top-tier ag cooperative in the Aurora, NE area. Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Repair & install current & older precision ag equipment, including GPS receivers, navigation units, precision ag sensors & transmitters, guidance systems, & monitors
• Bill & collect payment for any work done & equipment sold
• Educate & assist customers on how to use Precision Ag equipment
• Stay current on all certifications & other educational opportunities
• Participate as assigned with training, technical documentation, & other departments to ensure optimal knowledge transfer
• Coordinate with field teams to research & resolve field issues

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or Ag Mechanization or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license & ability to travel more than 50% of work day
• Working knowledge of Precision Ag systems & concepts
• Previous experience as a Precision Ag Specialist preferred
• Possess sufficient knowledge of crop production science to advise producers on Precision Ag plans, products, & services
• Proficient knowledge of electrical & wireless communication systems
• Certified Crop Advisor certification preferred
