Bible Teacher Middle School: Part-Time

Christian Heritage School (CHS) is a thriving academically and spiritually rigorous Christian day school located in Southern Connecticut. With over 400 students, it is one of the largest K-12 Christian schools in the Northeast and draws students from numerous towns across the state. It has a diverse student body that comes together to grow in knowledge, faith, and character within a loving, grace-filled environment.

Middle School Bible Teacher: This position walks through the New Testament life and ministry of Jesus, as well as the missionary journey of Paul. Students study parables, letters, and the work of Jesus and Paul as they spread the Good News of eternal salvation. Students work on practical assignments and projects throughout the year. Two sections, 1 credit each. Approximately 14 hours a week.

Candidate must be professionally qualified, who enjoys working with young people and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models in faith and deed.

• College degree
• Teaching Certificate preferred
• Relevant and rich teaching experiences
• A love for and understanding of middle schoolers
• A clear understanding and acceptance of basic Biblical principles
• A strong personal Christian faith in alignment with CHS Statement of Faith
