Sales Associate

We are looking for a Sales Associate’s that is warm and friendly, knowledgeable on all services of a salon, keen in assessing a client’s needs, manage and schedule appointments, promote and sell products and services, and help keep the salon clean and presentable.

In this position you be supporting the solon and hairstylists in assessing a client’s needs, promoting and selling products the salon offers and working as a team member to keep the solon sparkling and presentable.

Schedule: 

  • Part-Time/Full-Time, Monday-Saturday
  • Shift need: From 7AM - 4PM
  • Start Time/End Time based on salon hours
  • Schedule TBD

Attributes of a Strong Candidate:

  • High School diploma required
  • Skilled in customer service, sales and upselling of products is a must
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use the following software/programs:

Microsoft Outlook (Office, Word, Excel), Internet, T-Max, MindBody, Fit-Body Wrap, Pura, My Lipo, Red Light Sauna, ‘Group Me’ app, ‘When I Work’ app, Cryotherapy Chamber

  • Required to Successfully Pass and Complete in-House Procedure and Equipment Usage Assessment within thirty days of hire date.
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greet each customer warmly and provide excellent customer service through the entirety of their salon visit.
  • Upsell current services and products while ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Promptly resolve clients concerns as they arise.
  • Maintain effective communication with co-workers, management, and customers at all times.
  • Take new customers on a tour of the facility.
  • Educate customers and fellow staff professionally and with kindness on the products and services offered and provide recommendations.
  • Utilize Mindbody to schedule appointments, organize client information, as well as all services in and out of use.
  • Manage and update clients’ accounts accurately and efficiently.
  • Stay knowledgeable on all current sales and promotions.
  • Maintain front desk organization and cleanliness.
  • Open and close salon on time while ensuring proper procedures and policies are followed.
  • Understand, locate, and utilize all available checklists and manuals.
  • Work independently and productively while keeping open communication with others.
  • Count money accurately and collect receipts made from sales, balance the cash drawer, and deposit money in safe at the end of shift.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness.
  • Conduct services for clients the salon offers.
  • Regularly attend monthly meetings and safety training with management.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly deep clean of salon.
  • Opportunity to attend monthly team bonding’s, and annual corporate retreats.
  • Acknowledge GroupMe notifications daily with a heart.
  • Communicate effectively to staff and management through GroupMe on a daily basis.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accountability in all areas of the position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
