Chemical Operator
- Payrate $23-$28/hour depending on experience
- Temp-to hire opportunity with potential for career growth and stability.
- Position is in Cleveland, TX 77327
- Day shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-4:00pm
Play a critical role in supporting production goals and maintaining high company standards when you become a Chemical Operator with a specialty chemical manufacturer for the energy industry, specializing in upstream production treatment solutions.
As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for operating batch chemical blending processes to manufacture chemical products and handling chemical materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Your New Role:
- Perform routine operation of basic control systems and devices to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates and transfer of materials
- Lift hoses, bolt flanges and operate valves and similar equipment including the proper clearing and isolation of equipment
- Control, monitor and make necessary adjustments on control systems and manually operate equipment
- Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety, and environmental problems and identify equipment requiring maintenance
- Complete all batch records, process reports and documents associated with job tasks accurately and completely during shift operations
What You Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong math and mechanical aptitude
- Prior experience in chemical batch blending
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
