Job Description

The Senior AP/Bookkeeper will assist the Financial Controller. The ideal candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a demanding environment. We are located in Ybor City and support two personal injury law firms, as well as several other companies.

Duties:

  • Accounts payable for various companies
  • Prepare audit reports
  • Post payables and cut checks using Quick Books
  • Prepare deposits
  • Make payments online or by phone
  • Enter credit card transactions into Quick Books
  • Track payments to appropriate accounts
  • Format reports to lenders and management
  • Prepare letters to IRS & FL Department of Revenue
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualified candidates should have:

  • Solid understanding of Accounting and General Ledger activities
  • Minimum of 3-4 years accounts payable experience is required
  • Computer experience in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook


Business hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am to 3:00pm on Friday. Additional overtime may be required as needed. Our office is a non-smoking environment. Hourly rate is $21-$25/hour based on experience.
