Account Manager - Vendor Acquisition

**Job Description:**

As an Account Manager - Vendor Acquisition, you will be responsible for identifying and signing up new vendors to join our platform, as well as onboarding them onto our platform. You will specialize in specific product categories and manage the entire process of onboarding vendors, from initial contact to product listing. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for building relationships with local businesses.

**Responsibilities:**

- Identify and target potential vendors within designated product categories.

- Reach out to vendors via phone, email, and in-person meetings to pitch the benefits of joining MrsGrocery.com.

- Negotiate terms and agreements with vendors, including pricing, product listings, and promotional opportunities.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for promoting new vendors and product categories.

- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new vendors into the platform.

- Provide ongoing support and assistance to vendors to optimize their product listings and maximize sales.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close deals.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential vendors.

- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

- Ability to work on a commission-only basis and generate income through successful vendor acquisitions.
