As an AP Clerk, you will be responsible acquiring and processing invoices, assisting in the reconciliation of accounts, and paying vendors. Duties:

Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data

Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements

Generate reports detailing accounts payables status

Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience:

• At least 3 plus years’ experience working with high volume full cycle Accounts Payable (Required)
