About this Position / Responsibilities NFF Inc.’s Applications Development & Operations Group is looking for a Senior Project Lead whose primary responsibilities will include; managing project plans and deliverables, conducting integrated teaming sessions, performing systems analysis, developing user stories from Product Backlog Items, performing general business analysis activities and developing/assisting in the development of documentation related to all project activities for the life of the project, to include but not limited to technical and functional requirements and user guides. The Project Lead will work under the supervision of a customer’s Program Manager. Requirements Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Lead project teams in executing tasks, managing dependencies, and resolving issues to ensure successful project completion within budget and schedule constraints. Work closely with technical teams, including developers, engineers, and architects, to design, develop, and implement technology solutions aligned with DC Government's strategic objectives. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and regulations governing technology projects and government operations. Display a high degree of adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to assist fellow team members Experience with Project Management concepts including a deep understanding of the Agile Scrum Methodology. Qualifications Skills Required 8+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst Required 8+ years’ experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Required 5+ years’ experience understanding of software quality assurance and processes Required 5+ years’ experience understanding of relational data models. Required 5+ years’ experience understanding of Agile project management with a focus on Scrum Agile. Required 8+ years’ experience MS Office tools (Visio, PowerPoint, Word & Excel) Required 5+ years' experience developing use cases and user stories. Required 8+ years’ experience in business process mapping or operational redesign / improvement Required 8+ years’ experience as a technical writer in a software/application development environment. Required 8+ years’ experience creating process flows and system architecture diagrams using Visio.
