Pay Rate: $17/hr
Shifts available:
6:00a-2:00p
9:00a-5:00p
2pm-10pm- $18.15 hour
What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:
• Unloading pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually and/or using material handling equipment
• Accurately counting, verifying, and receiving product using radio frequency equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology
• Moving cases of product from the inbound dock to storage locations in the warehouse using material handling equipment
• Moving pallets and/or cases from reserve location to pick location using material handling equipment
• Operating a forklift and picking items as high as 35 feet in the air
• Building pallets and delivering them to designated areas for shipping
• Loading pallets using material handling equipment
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Following safety policies and procedures and correcting or communicating hazards to management
• Maintaining productivity and quality standards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are able to count and perform basic math calculations
• Have demonstrated ability to operate various material handling equipment
• Have the ability to follow general sequencing and process procedures
• Have attention to detail and can identify errors down to the single digit or letter
• Have the ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance frequently
• Can stand on your feet for long periods of time, up to 10 hours daily
