Qualifications
- 0 – 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Thorough knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting practices
- Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and SOX controls
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Position Functions
- Own all activities related to the accounts payable and drive continuous process improvement
- Responsible for daily customer invoicing and billing
- Perform 3-way match of PO’s, picklists, and invoices.
- Code and enter matched invoices into ERP system.
- Prepare weekly check runs, wires, etc.
- Assist with AR collections and cash application.
- Create and maintain databases on activity conducted on all accounts.
- Own prepaids, intercompany charges and accruals as a part of month-end close process (i.e., journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.)
- Support monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting cadence.
- Support internal and external audit processes throughout the year.
- Ad Hoc analysis and projects as needed.
