Position Highlights:

Job Summary

The Physical therapist (PT) will effectively evaluate patients and develop treatment plans appropriate for functional limitations of individual patients.  The PT will help people who have physical and/ or disabling conditions restore function, alleviate pain and prevent disabilities by planning and administrating physical therapy. This position will work with patients in a variety of settings including:  Outpatient, inpatient, LTC, home health care and pediatrics.  This position will provide coverage at multiple locations for events such as contracted services, extended leaves of absence as well as start-up coverage for new services.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred.
• One year experience preferred in multiple practice settings.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed in the state of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist required.
• Licensed in the state of Minnesota and/or Iowa as a Physical Therapist is required depending on job assignment. If additional state licensure is required, employee must obtain within 120 days of request.
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter, depending upon job assignment.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, lunch 12:00pm-1:00pm; 80 hours per 2 weeks
• Every fourth weekend, 1-2 holidays per year

Pay

• $36.75 - $55.50 per hour
