Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin’s vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.As part of a diverse and hardworking team, you will lead a group of technicians and specialists to build, integrate, test, operate and maintain the New Glenn Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) labs.   As the lab manager, you will be responsible for recruiting personnel, delivering semi-annual performance reviews, coaching and mentoring new and existing staff, managing work schedules, and monitoring labor hours and overtime.   You will coordinate with internal customers to plan, schedule, allocate resources and execute integrated testing operations in the HIL.   You will develop training requirements and ensure that personnel are properly trained for HIL operations.  You will oversee the procurement of material and test equipment to support development and recurring operations in the HIL.   You will coordinate with facilities to schedule lab upgrades, repairs and maintenance.   You will ensure that calibrated equipment is maintained in an active calibrated state.    You will drive a culture of Safety in the lab, ensuring that personnel and visitors are properly trained, and have the appropriate tools and equipment to operate safely in the lab test environment.   You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the HIL development and its use as an operational verification tool. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Qualifications:8+ years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and engineering of complex facilitiesMinimum of 1 year experience as a lead or supervisor of skilled technicians or operations personnelFamiliarity with industry safety programs (eg.
