Controller

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

• Act as the point of contact for external auditors

• Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing setting

• Experience in managing Inventory, AP, AR, and Payroll. Ability to reconcile with a general ledger.

• Manage month-end and year-end closings. Work closely with our CPA firm in filing of all tax returns.

• Strong in cost accounting with an understanding of ERP systems. This position will play a key role in the implementation of our new manufacturing ERP software system.

• Experience in retirement programs, health insurance administration, and workers compensation management is preferred, but we have on staff co-workers who will train.

• Proficient in Microsoft office products
