Requirements:

• Adherence to all pertinent local and state regulations concerning School Paraprofessionals
• Preferred experience supporting special education students and their families
• Dedication to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and instructional activities for students
• Provide personalized support to students, either individually or in small groups, including those with special needs, to reinforce learning and foster engagement
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social development, nurturing an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere
• Work closely with teachers and staff to execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
• Foster positive relationships with students by providing encouragement, guidance, and mentorship
• Assist in managing the classroom, organizing materials, and preparing educational resources
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and behavior in adherence to regulations
