Job Description

Location: Winchester, VA
Job Title: Special Education Teacher

We are conducting interviews for a Special Education Teachers for our School District. This is a contract positions that offers weekly pay.

Job Description:

Contract approximately 03/24 - EOSY
Caseloads PreK through Middle School Special Education Classes - Mostly elementary school
Will be working on interventions for subjects like reading and math
10 to 15 students per classroom, typically
Must have active license/certifications in
Must have Adaptive certification
37.5 hours per week
Hourly pay starting at $35 hourly
Weekly paycheck!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assessing students' skills and learning requirements
Adapting lesson plans to meet each student' individualized needs
Tracking the student's performance
Developing, modifying, and updating IEPs

Other requirements:

Active State Special Education License
Experience working in an Adaptive classroom
Experience working with ID students
