Part-Time Middle School Algebra Math Teacher
Responsibilities:

• Teach Algebra to middle school students, utilizing creative and effective instructional strategies.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school curriculum and educational standards.
• Provide individualized support to students to ensure understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and academic growth.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other forms of evaluation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall mathematics program and promote interdisciplinary connections.
• municate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic concerns.

Requirements:

• Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for middle school education in the state of Virginia.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience teaching Algebra to middle school students is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of algebraic concepts and proficiency in teaching mathematical principles.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and create a supportive learning environment.

Schedule:

• Part-Time: 20-25 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7:45 am to 12:00 pm
