School Nurse (RN/LPN) - Gonzalez, CA

As a School Nurse in Gonzalez, CA, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of students across two school sites for the 2023/2024 school year. We welcome applications from Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Registered Nurses (RN), or Certified School Nurses (CSN).

Responsibilities Include:

1. Health Screenings: Conduct health and vision screenings for students as required.
2. Health Office Coverage: Manage and oversee the health office, providing care to students as needed.
3. Health Education: Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and preventive care.
4. First Aid: Administer first aid as needed and respond to health emergencies.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to support a healthy school environment.

Qualifications:

1. License: Must hold a valid LVN, RN, or CSN license in the state of California.
2. Experience: Prior experience in a school setting or pediatric nursing is preferred but not required.
3. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
