Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a full-time basis. As an OT, you will play a key role in supporting students' functional skills development and participation in educational activities. This position will primarily serve elementary and middle school students, collaborating closely with educators and other professionals to address the unique needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, visual perception, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with the educational team.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, targeting skill areas such as handwriting, motor coordination, self-care, and executive functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments, promoting carryover of skills.
- Monitor students' progress through ongoing data collection and progress monitoring, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and other relevant meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and munication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alaska.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and best practices.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
