Volt is immediately hiring an SAP Analyst in Monroe, North Carolina, for a well-known industry leader. As a Manufacturing Engineer Technician, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
This is a first shift position.
As a Manufacturing Engineer Technician you will:

Additional Preferred skills:
• SAP application experience, specifically on the production side
• Advanced knowledge of SAP in the following areas:
o Data creation and maintenance in one or more roles/functional areas/modules
o Bill of Material creation/update
o Recipe and Production Version creation/update
o Scripting in SAP
o Comfortable manipulating data and using macro scripts in MS Excel.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration ability.
• Self-motivated, self-starter ready to solve challenging problems

Pay Rate: $28.00-32.00 hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Technician you will:
- Lead SAP bill of material creation, recipe creation and production version creation for new materials and finished goods launching out of a new product introduction.
- Implement lessons learned and best practices gained from collaboration with the greater manufacturing engineering and product engineering teams.
- Determine priority of material create for ECO’s that will be requested at the same time.
- Support material create process to ensure timely launch of products to meet business timeline for product launch.
- Escalate issues and collaborate closely with engineers, planners, and supervisors.
Estimated Duration 24+ months.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate degree + five (5) years of manufacturing experience OR…
- Bachelor’s degree + two (2) years of manufacturing experience (mfg engineering, process engineering or automation) in a private, public, government or military environment.
