Caseload: Approximately 4 students

Description:

• Conduct assessments to determine the need for physical therapy services.
• Attend MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings to collaborate with school staff on student interventions and support.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) and other therapy assistants.
• Develop and update PLAAFPs (Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance) and goals/objectives for students.
• Provide direct therapy services as needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the educational team to support student success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
