Special Education Teachers Needed In Guilford, ME
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Guilford, ME. As a contracted Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Valid Special Education teaching license issued by the state
  • Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
