Job Description:
Pay: $27 / Hour

Position Details:

Job Title: Local Delivery Driver - Union Position with Pension & Route Pay Guarantee

Location: Flagstaff, AZ

Start Date for Training: 3/22 and 3/23

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-9am start times, 8/9 hour days

Compensation:

• Temporary Phase: $27 per hour
• Post-Hire: $304 Route Pay Guarantee (Overtime paid for hours beyond standard route completion)
• Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay beyond route completion
• Pension: Approximately $1,200 per month upon permanent hire
• Union Membership: Required upon permanent hire, $1,000 initiation fee (payment plan available through the union)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Local Delivery Driver for a temp-to-hire position out of Flagstaff, AZ. This position is not just about driving; it's about ensuring timely and safe delivery, contributing to the team, and taking pride in serving our communities.

Responsibilities:

• Drive from Flagstaff to Ashfork for a drop and hook, then make deliveries to Flagstaff, Showlow, and Payson before returning to Flagstaff.
• Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and customer service.
• Join and participate in union activities and benefits upon permanent hire.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Commitment to joining the union upon transition to permanent employment.
• Ability to lift and handle delivery items up to a certain weight.
• Reliability and dedication to completing routes effectively.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
