Child Learning Assistant

Seeking assistant(s) at home, school and in the community to support neurodiverse pre K girl. Part time/ Full time / Weekend positions available. Ideal candidates can make a minimum year commitment. Highly competitive pay with opportunities for growth! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Able to lift 45 pounds. Maintain high levels of interactive engagement with physical play. Assist client to successfully and independently engage in her day. Provide support with daily tasks, play, community activities in home/ school and community. Successfully collaborate & provide multi-team individualized client programs/interventions. Training and supervision provided. Regular communication/ feedback with team specialist and caregivers specific to client's day Detailed data collection and notes Driving to/ from therapies/ community items might be needed JOB REQUIREMENTS: Active, creative, high energy, musical (child highly motivated by singing/music), self motivated, great communicator and team player. Able to effectively work both with and without supervision! Able to lift 45 pounds. Maintain high levels of interactive engagement with physical play. Willingness to learn and receive feedback on performance Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions Background & Childcare Clearances preferred (can be gotten on the job) IDEAL EXPERIENCE: Recent experience in early childhood special education, psychology, speech, behavior, occupational, physical, recreational/ art /music therapy, child care or related field experience preferred 1 year + field experience or Bachelor's degree preferred GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES: Work with vision ( CVI) apraxia and local experts in various fields Receive RBT or BCBA supervision Full time positions Typical work shifts(flexible for right individual (s) M - F 9 - 2, 2 - 8 Weekend rotations Longer Hours are available
