Position Summary: 

Provide financial services to Community Associations and Property Management firms and fully manage/oversee deposit and credit relationships assigned and/or obtained through sales and networking activities. Additional duties will include new business development, attending Community/HOA board meetings and industry specific events, participate and attend bank/group credit meetings by presenting profitable loan and/or depository/treasury management requests, and performing and supporting the necessary financial credit analysis and underwriting.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following is not intended to be all inclusive but rather a general representation of the basic responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization:

  • Develop and retain key credit and deposit relationships for the Bank.

  • Communicate and meet with board members and property managers and attend various industry functions.

  • Develop relationships with Attorneys, Management Companies, Accountants, Reserve/Engineers, Insurance, and other industry related professionals.

  • Perform credit analysis for existing and prospective customers of the Bank.

  • Assist with the ongoing credit monitoring functions including financial statement review and loan covenant compliance.

  • Managing Documentation Exceptions and Moody’s Credit Exceptions.

  • Documentation of loans and amendments.

  • Update Salesforce database activities

  • Maintain sales pipeline, provide weekly updates.

  • Routinely update all calls to Outlook Calendar.

  • Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by manager.

  • Retain current client base through a consistent follow up program including but not limited to financial reviews, covenant tracking, cross sell efforts.

  • Keep up to-date with Compliance Training

  • Portfolio Management

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Assist manager with direction of sales team, must be able to mentor and train others, and be comfortable in a leadership role.

 

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Required:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations with all levels of individuals within the organization and/or industry.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook. Also have the ability to learn bank systems and other software.

  • Be a strong team player, with the ability to multitask; have a high attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service.

  • This position will also require a willingness to put in extra hours as needed to complete projects with deadlines.

 

 

Training/ Education/ Experience Qualifications: (Include licenses and certifications)

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business or related field

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a banking or related environment

 

Licenses & Certifications

  • Current driver’s license

  • Property Management Certifications, if applicable
