Spartronics designs, manufactures, and manages the full lifecycle of robust electronic and electromechanical devices for commercial aerospace, defense, space, instrumentation and control, life sciences and medical device applications. Basic Purpose of Position: Work with test engineering group on development of test programs and fixtures. Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve test methods and equipment and decrease manufacturing costs.


Primary or Major Responsibilities:

Assisting in the following functions:

· Development of test programs, fixtures and implementation of test methods for the Production Test Department to ensure proper functionality before the product is used.

· Development of In-circuit test, Flying Probe Test, Boundary Scan Test and/or Functional Test.

· Supporting all areas as required.

· Continuous improvement and ensure test operational excellence of all test methods and equipment.

· All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

· Must be working to obtain degree from a university or technical school in engineering, precision machining, robotics, electronics/electrical systems, manufacturing, business or related discipline.

· Commitment to gain experience in manufacturing.

· Ability to function effectively in a team environment.

· Effective communication skills driven by attention to detail.

· Must be self-motivated and self-managed.


This position is paid hourly and offers part-time hours during the school year and full-time hours during the summer. Hours are flexible.
