Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a caring, reliable, energetic RDH who loves what they do! We are a fast-paced, fee-for-service cosmetic and restorative dental practice in Valparaiso, Florida. We pride ourselves on having a friendly team, warm work environment and wonderful patients. Providing quality patient care is our main priority.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8am - 5pm

Compensation:

• $36-38 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities:

• Educate and consult patients on treatment needs and presenting treatment options
• Develop and maintain hygiene schedule
• Accurately and efficiently chart existing and future treatment needs
• Complete full mouth periodontal probing
• Work as a team to comply with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
• Sterilize and maintain hygiene instrumentation and equipment
• Obtain patient demographics, medical history and vitals
• Obtain series of needed intra/extra-oral photos and/or radiographs
• Document clear and concise dental notes

Qualifications:

• Gentle and empathetic chair-side manners
• Interpersonal Skills
• Team player and communication
• Experience with digital radiography
• Prior experience with implant dentistry is a plus
• Proficient with practice management software's (Open Dental Preferred)

Credentials:

• Current Florida RDH License Required
• Current and/or willing to be certified in BLS
• Ability to work 4 days a week
