Looking to hire a AM Baker who is responsible for preparing and baking breads, pastries and pies by performing the following duties:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Mixing, prepping and baking doughs, batters, pastries and quick breads
- Preparing, plating and plattering all desserts and pastries for day of /next day events.
- Keeping track of production and discard dates of all items with emphasis on product quality.
- Keeping us with inventory pars of a la carte items; communicating clearly on daily tasks and needs with Pastry Chef and Executive Chef.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/experience. Formal culinary education preferred.
- Knowledge of basic baking techniques and methods; and the ability to roll a variety of croissants and danishes.
- Ability to read and follow recipes; and measure ingredients properly according to recipe guidelines.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have TB clearance
- Must have RELIABLE form of transportation
- Must be dependable and reliable for shifts when scheduled.
