DETAILS ABOUT THE JOB

The Engineering Admininstrative Assistant will help leadership, and the engineering team as a whole, stay focused, organized, and efficient allowing everyone to prioritize the ministry's mission. You will provide administrative support and assist viewers with engineering-related needs. Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a technical or engineering environment, is preferred.

  • The location is in Akron, Ohio
  • This position is on-site and is NOT remote
  • Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00a. to 5:00p, with 1 hour for lunch


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for the mission and values of TCT Network, with an understanding of faith-based broadcasting.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and confidential data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as, collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications depending on the audience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage schedules for broadcast engineers, ensuring timely attendance at meetings, appointments, and project deadlines.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation, organization, and maintenance of technical documents, reports, and project documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Track and reconcile expenses, including invoices, receipts, and purchase orders per company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate team meetings, conference calls, and presentations, preparing agendas and materials as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for engineering projects by coordinating logistics, ordering equipment/supplies, and tracking project milestones. 
  • Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other records accurately, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    Assist with general office tasks such as ordering supplies, coordinating equipment maintenance, and managing office inventory.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Responsible for any other duties assigned by the VP of Engineering.
