Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

As a Restaurant Manager at Burr Oak Lodge and Conference Center in Glouster, Ohio, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of our on-site restaurant. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of food quality.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and train restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Create and maintain efficient and effective schedules for employees
- Oversee daily operations and ensure restaurant is meeting quality and service standards
- Monitor food and labor costs to ensure profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure an exceptional dining experience
- Collaborate with other departments within the lodge and conference center to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage industry trends
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field is a plus
