Competitive pay starts at a $28.00 up to $38.00 per hour flat rate with the opportunity to earn $60,000 to $80,000 annually.

Position Overview:

A Subaru technician will perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, by dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty. Will conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.

  • You are committed to learning new technology on repair and service procedures and specifications, stay current on factory technical bulletins, and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
  • Able to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure current knowledge of the latest technical data and service procedures
  • Attend required service training sessions or meetings and share expertise with others
  • Maintain the essential tools necessary to complete assigned jobs
  • Maintain the ability to use all company equipment and tools correctly or seek assistance as needed; clean and lock up all tools daily
  • Complete "technician inspection" thoroughly
  • Perform quality repairs; have a "fix the vehicle right the first time" mentality
  • Advise ASM of needed repairs, including parts needs; advise the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order
  • Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and any other pertinent information needed to describe repair activities

Requirements:

  • Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
