Job Description
Summary: The role of Business Analyst involves analyzing the procedures and applications within an organization to improve its operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Where you will make an impact:
Responsibilities
Conduct elicitation meetings to gather accurate business rules and requirements, ensuring that there are no gaps in the information collected
Document requirements and business rules in a concise manner, review with subject matter experts and stakeholders for approval, and share with the project team
Update requirement documentation, get approval, and review with the project team following Vibrant's change management
Identify decisions and issues that require documentation, involve appropriate parties, and aid in the resolution
Create a comprehensive test plan and document test cases that cover all possible scenarios, mapping to business requirements
Develop a requirements analysis plan outlining which features need requirements, who will supply them, and a timeline based on understanding the project charter
Own and maintain the defect lifecycle management process
Develop, maintain, and adhere to system support plans and manuals
Maintain an active working relationship with vendors
Participate in user groups and stay aware of vendor roadmaps
Do you have what it takes?
Four-year degree, 5+ years of experience, or equivalent education and business experience with a project management framework
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, well-versed in presentation styles, excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Demonstrated success in critical thinking and investigative experience solutions
Experience in user testing and project management
Working knowledge of assigned discipline systems
Working knowledge of banking terminology

The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.
